The "in flight / landed" status your family sees is computed from the roster you uploaded. Details a roster can't hold — actual arrival time, gate — come from flight operations data looked up by flight number. Neither uses your location.
We never request location
There's no GPS call anywhere in the app or the web. The site blocks the browser's location feature outright — so we couldn't use it even if we changed our minds.
The link itself is the key
We load no ad or analytics scripts on Safe Link, invite or login screens. If one of those addresses leaked, that alone would open your schedule.
Photos are converted, then dropped

Do you track my location with GPS?
No. We never request or store location. What your family sees is computed from your roster and flight number. On the web, the browser's location feature is blocked outright.
What exactly does my family see?
Only as much as the Circle Class you picked. Economy shows today's status; higher classes add flight number, times and city; First can even include your calendar if you want. Hotel names and notes are never shared.
Does my family need the app?
No — they just open the link. No install, no account, and there's a large-text view for older family members.
How far does the free plan go?
Roster upload, calendar, OFF Sync, one Safe Link seat and Flight Replay are all free. Ads are shown, and live flight info is a Premium feature.
Is there an Android version?
Yes — iPhone and Android both, including home-screen widgets. It also runs right in a web browser. For smartwatches, Apple Watch only for now.
What if my roster changes mid-month?
Just re-upload that month. Only the AI-imported entries are replaced — anything you added by hand stays.
